Yes i know it may seem that i hate the Palm Pre, but in actuality i want it to succeed.  I want apple to get off their ass and actually give the iPhone features it should have had in the beginning.  I don’t want Palm to be snuffed out in this recession, but to come out stronger and better.

It’s just that Sprint needs to also step up their game as well.  They are making a gamble and hoping it pays off.  At the rate they are going though, it may not.

The Palm Pre may end up being a better handset then what is currently out, but like i said before we will have to wait and see.

As everyone knows, the Palm Pre will be coming out on Sprint some time in the next few months.  What many might not know is which plan you will be able to get.  Lucky for me, I have a friend that works for Sprint and knows.

So I’m betting you want to know, well here is it.  The minimum plan that you can use with the Palm Pre is the Simply Everything Plan. Yes, the $99/month plan.  From what I have seen, many people will not like this since the iPhone on At&t is less then that and you can get discounts if you really try.

The only way Sprint and Palm will get even close to what the iPhone and even Blackberry have, Sprint will need to either increase the soft cap on data (5GB) per month or come out with a new Plan just for the Pre.  If they do not, Palm will go semi silently into the night and will not come back.

Palm needs to have a GSM version on its tails of release on Sprint also.  Even if its outside the USA, there will not be enough customers to purchase it on CDMA alone.

We will have to wait and see what comes next and maybe just maybe Sprint will say something about this.

So as you can see, I have wordpress running.  I still have no skills.  Currently using a template for wordpress till i can actually get something working. Going to have to learn CSS i guess.
